I have an idea for a cake but am I taking this to far?
the idea is to make a plain white cake into a jello cake nothing strange there but what i was thinking was to make the jello cake like you normaly would poking the holes and all but alternating each hole between chocolate pudding and cherry jello. almost like a checker board effect. and simply served with whipped cream. thoughts anyone?

I would suggest doing this: Step 1: Use a fork and poke holes in the cake for the jello. Step 2: Pour the jello over top Step 3: Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes for the pudding Step 4: Then pour the pudding into the holes Step 5: Mix remaining pudding with whipped cream Step 6: Frost cake with pudding whipped cream mixture.
